Restaurants at SkyCity Adelaide and Eos

If you are staying at Eos for one to three nights, dining is mostly a matter of choosing how close to your room you want to stay. SkyCity Adelaide publishes a broad restaurant and bar list, from Italian and Chinese dining to rooftop drinks and casual venues near the gaming floor. This guide keeps to the names, cuisines and notes the venue publishes.

What is on the published dining list

SkyCity Adelaide’s current eat-and-drink list names Huami, The District, SOL Rooftop, iTL Italian Kitchen, The Kitchen, Madame Hanoi, The Guardsman, Westward, Central Café, Chandelier Bar and Xpress. That gives you several different kinds of evening without leaving the property or the immediate Riverbank setting. For a broader arrival view, including the hotel and the surrounding precinct, read the full review.

The clearest dinner choices from the published descriptions are Huami, described as a “premium Chinese dining experience”; iTL Italian Kitchen, described as “Uncomplicated and contemporary Italian dining”; The Kitchen, described as “a contemporary expression of premium dining, grounded in South Australia’s exceptional produce”; and Madame Hanoi, described as “Modern South - East Asian” and a “Multi-award winning Southeast Asian restaurant and cocktail bar”.

The bar and casual side is also useful when you are timing a room arrival, a spa booking or an Adelaide Oval evening. SOL Rooftop is on Level 9 and publishes opening hours from Wednesday to Sunday. Westward is described as a riverbank bar for cocktails, weekend live music and drinks before or after an Adelaide Oval event. The Guardsman is a bar and restaurant. The District is listed as an entertainment venue, brewery and sports bar. Central Café is next to the main gaming floor, and Xpress is a casual restaurant with seasonal menus.

The official dining page is at skycityadelaide.com.au/eat-and-drink/. The separate Eos standalone site was unreachable when the facts for this page were compiled, so this guide relies on the SkyCity Adelaide pages that were available.

Restaurants and bars at a glance

The table below uses the venue’s own names and published descriptions. Where a status point matters, it is included in the note rather than inferred. “Sean’s Kitchen” does not appear on the current official dining page in the facts checked for this guide; “The Kitchen” is listed instead. A reported rebrand was seen only in trade-press search snippets and is not verified on a fetched page.

A two-night eating plan from Eos

For a first night, keep dinner close and easy to time. If you arrive by the Festival Plaza side, you are already on the Riverbank side of the property, with Eos at Festival Drive and SkyCity Adelaide between Festival Plaza, North Terrace and the railway station entrances. Check the room category you have requested, settle your bag, then choose a booked dinner rather than trying to cover the whole precinct at once. If you are still deciding on accommodation, the rooms and suites page sets out the published categories.

A practical first-night pattern is iTL Italian Kitchen or Huami for dinner, then SOL Rooftop if its published hours suit your night. SOL is the place with the clearest published schedule in the dining facts: Wednesday and Thursday 2pm–10pm, Friday 2pm–1am, Saturday 11am–1am and Sunday 12pm–10pm. If your stay begins on another night, do not assume the rooftop is open; check the hotel’s current page before you plan around it.

For a second night, use the reason you are in Adelaide to set the meal. If you are walking to Adelaide Oval, Westward is specifically positioned by SkyCity as a riverbank bar for drinks before or after an Adelaide Oval event, and the dedicated page on match and concert nights at Adelaide Oval explains how to think about timing. If you are keeping the evening indoors, Madame Hanoi publishes dinner hours Tuesday to Thursday 5–8:30pm and Friday to Saturday 5–9:30pm. Its phone number is published by the venue, but you do not need to build a stay around any one restaurant if your dates or arrival time are still fluid.

If you are pairing dinner with wellness time, put the spa first in your plan. BODHI Spa at Eos is on Level 1 of Eos and publishes daily hours of 10am–6pm except public holidays. That makes an early evening meal the more reliable sequence. The Eos Spa guide explains what is published about the spa facilities and what is not.

How the dining choices sit in the Riverbank precinct

The usefulness of these restaurants is not just the list of cuisines. It is the way the property sits between North Terrace, the railway station building, Festival Plaza and the river. You can come in from North Terrace, the tram and Rundle Mall, or from the eastern Festival Plaza entrance near Festival Drive and the Festival Car Park lifts. That means you can plan dinner according to your route as much as your appetite.

Staying at Eos also changes the rhythm of a short visit. You do not need to cross the city for every meal. On a one-night stay, choose one restaurant and leave the rest of the evening open. On a two-night stay, make one dinner the structured booking and one night more flexible around the rooftop, Westward or The Guardsman. On a three-night stay, you can add a casual meal at Xpress, Central Café or The District, depending on what you want from the evening.

If you are new to the area, the Riverbank precinct page gives the setting without turning it into a checklist. For arrivals, entrances and car park notes, use getting there. SkyCity Adelaide publishes Festival Car Park access through lifts to the eastern Festival Plaza entrance, but it does not publish car park rates, a space count or valet details on the official page checked for this guide.

What is not published clearly

Some planning details are straightforward; others are not published in the facts available. The official material checked for this page does not give hotel check-in or check-out times. It also does not publish casino opening hours on the fetched home, casino, plan-your-visit or host-responsibility pages, and no dress code was found on those pages. Do not use dining plans as a substitute for confirming your room timing.

For restaurants, published hours are specific for SOL Rooftop and Madame Hanoi in the facts checked here. Other venues are named and described, but this guide does not add opening times where the source material provided here does not state them. If a particular dinner is important to your stay, confirm directly with SkyCity Adelaide before you finalise the evening.

Ownership is also worth stating plainly. SkyCity Entertainment Group operates SkyCity Adelaide. A formal sale process was announced on 30 September 2026, with SkyCity saying there was no certainty the process would result in any transaction or other outcome. As of the facts checked for this site, no completed sale or buyer was stated on any fetched official page. The practical point for you is simple: make room and restaurant plans against the current hotel and venue pages, and do not rely on speculation.
