Getting to Eos by SkyCity from the airport, the station and the river
Eos sits on Festival Drive, on the river side of SkyCity Adelaide; the same complex faces North Terrace at the front. Every route below ends at that one pin. Choose the line that matches how you land in Adelaide, open it in Google Maps for live timings, and name your entrance when you request a room.

Two faces of one building
You can think of SkyCity Adelaide as a building with two useful faces. The North Terrace side connects you with Adelaide Railway Station, the tram and the city centre. The Festival Plaza side connects you with Festival Drive, Adelaide Festival Centre, the Riverbank precinct and the lifts from Festival Car Park.
The hotel address is published as Eos by SkyCity, Festival Drive, Adelaide, SA 5000, Australia. SkyCity Adelaide is also published as North Terrace, Adelaide. Bodhi Spa at Eos gives its own address as Hotel Level 1, Festival Drive, Adelaide, South Australia 5000. If you are requesting a room and expect to arrive by car, use Festival Drive in your notes. If you are walking in from the city, the North Terrace entrance may be the simpler reference.
The property publishes a Festival Plaza Entrance on the east side, reached from Festival Plaza, Festival Drive, Adelaide Festival Centre and the Festival Car Park lifts. It also publishes a North Terrace Entrance, reached from North Terrace, the tram and Rundle Mall. On Adelaide Oval AFL game days, a Game Day Entrance via the “Railway Station tunnel” is published as open two hours before until two hours after every Adelaide Oval AFL game.
Those details matter because the Riverbank can feel close on a map but split across levels, roads and plazas. If you are carrying a bag, choose the entrance that matches your arrival point rather than trying to cross the precinct after you have already reached the building. For a broader sense of how the hotel sits between the river, North Terrace and the Oval, see our guide to the Riverbank precinct.
From Adelaide Airport (ADL)
Adelaide Airport carries the code ADL and, by secondary sources, lies roughly six kilometres west of the city's business district. By Australian standards that is a short transfer, and you have three sensible ways to make it: a city bus, a taxi from the rank, or a rideshare from its own pick-up zone.
The airport says the J1 and J2 Adelaide Metro services connect the terminal directly with the city centre. You board them at Stop 10 on Sir Richard Williams Avenue, which the airport puts two to five minutes on foot from the terminal, with luggage trolleys kept near the stop. Adelaide Metro's own pages could not be read for this guide, so frequencies and fares are not printed here; the bus link above asks Google for live departures on the day you fly.
For a taxi, leave the terminal, turn left in the pedestrian plaza and follow the Taxi Rank signs. The airport lists taxis through terminal opening hours, 3:15am to 11:30pm daily, and adds a service fee to taxi and rideshare fares leaving the airport. Uber, Ola and DiDi drivers wait in a marked area to the left of the Terminal Car Park; the signs take you across the plaza and over the pedestrian lights.
Give the driver Festival Drive if you want to step out on the hotel side, near the Festival Car Park lifts and the eastern entrance. Say North Terrace if you would rather arrive at the casino's city frontage and walk through. With a heavy case, Festival Drive is the kinder instruction.
Driving in and parking
If you collect a hire car at the airport, the main road into town, by secondary sources, is Sir Donald Bradman Drive, which runs along the airport's northern edge and ends at West Terrace on the western side of the city grid. From there you cross the centre to the Riverbank; the driving link above lets Google choose the turns against live traffic rather than us guessing them.
The car park SkyCity names is Festival Car Park, whose lifts rise to the eastern, Festival Plaza entrance, and the casino adds that there is “ample car parking” nearby. No operator, space count, rates or valet service appear on the official page used here, so if height clearance, overnight cost or valet matter to you, ask the desk to confirm them alongside your room.
On Adelaide Oval AFL game days the precinct fills, and SkyCity opens a Game Day Entrance through the Railway Station tunnel from two hours before until two hours after the match. That entrance helps people on foot, not drivers. If your arrival overlaps a game, allow longer, or leave the car parked until the crowd has thinned. Our Oval nights page plans that kind of evening on foot.
By train to Adelaide Railway Station
Adelaide railway station is the terminus of the suburban network, and by secondary sources the casino occupies most of the heritage station building on North Terrace. Few city hotels can say the platforms share their address. Come up to street level, use the North Terrace Entrance, where SkyCity says directional signage guides the way, and you are inside the complex.
No published source gives a step count or minutes from platform to the Eos lobby, so we do not invent one. The walking link above plots the short outdoor version, for when you would rather go around the building to Festival Drive than through it. For a slower account of that first arrival with luggage, read from the station to the lobby.
By tram
The city tram stops at Adelaide Railway Station on North Terrace, and SkyCity names the tram as one reason to use its North Terrace Entrance. By secondary sources the tram is free inside the city centre, which makes it a fair way to reach Eos from elsewhere in the grid, and the line runs out to Glenelg on the coast. A Glenelg to Festival Plaza service runs only on weekends and Adelaide Oval event days, so on a weekday plan on the North Terrace stop.
If you are spending a morning at the beach and coming back for dinner, keep the tram link from Moseley Square open on your phone and check it on the day for the current timetable.
Arriving on an interstate train
The Overland, The Ghan and the Indian Pacific do not come into Adelaide railway station. They use Adelaide Parklands Terminal on Richmond Road at Keswick Terminal, which by secondary sources is about three kilometres by road south-west of the city centre. With luggage, a taxi or rideshare is the plain answer; the Parklands link above shows Google's road route to Festival Drive.
What to tell the desk
When you send a room request, add one line about how you are arriving: “J1 from the airport around 6pm”, “train into Adelaide station”, “hire car, Festival Car Park”. The desk can then answer with entrance and parking notes that suit your dates rather than a general paragraph.
Name the room you are leaning towards as well. Eos publishes four categories: Allure Rooms, Oasis Suites, Radiance River View Suites and The Grace Villa. If you are still deciding, the rooms and suites guide compares them before you write.
For the hotel's own information, SkyCity Adelaide keeps its arrival notes at skycityadelaide.com.au. The standalone Eos site did not respond when these notes were first compiled, so access details here come from the SkyCity pages and the transport sources named above. Transport details on this page were checked on 29 October 2026.
